 At Malibu Specialty Clinic, our Gastroenterology division offers new technology such as Capsule endoscopy; a wireless device that looks at the esophagus, stomach and small intestine. Conventional Colonoscopy is offered as a prevention of colon cancer. Evaluation of symptoms such as non cardiac chest pain, reflux, abdominal pain, diarrhea , constipation, rectal bleed nausea and gas are offered as well as treament of Crohn’s disease, celiac sprue and Hepatitis.
The Cardiology division has seven physicians specializing in various fields of cardiovascular disease. Their goal is not only diagnosis and treatment of heart disease but also prevention. Evaluations for symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue and palpitations are offered as well as treatment for cholesterol and hypertension. They offer access to cardiac testing such as echocardiography, nuclear stress testing and newer modalities such as cardiac MRI and cardiac CT.
The Endocrine division manages and treats conditions such as thyroid disease, diabetes and gives you a thorough work up of symptoms such as fatigue and obesity.
The Vein center uses top of the line equipment to treat cosmetically varicose veins.
